Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fausto Nóbrega started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fausto Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doriva Carvalho having to make a save. Valdomiro Sampaio, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Simão Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acungui EC's Simão Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo das Neves in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Natingui FC's goalkeeper Doriva Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doriva Carvalho having to make a save. Túlio da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Alfredinho Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo das Neves during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doriva Carvalho came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Acungui EC's Rodriguinho Oliveira. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Natingui FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marcelo Varela hit a great ball. Acungui EC's Ronaldinho Toscano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Natingui FC. Doriva Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Carvalho having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo das Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fausto Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Carvalho having to interfere. When Hélder Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Natingui FC's protests and gave Hélder Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Vargas. With his leg Doriva Carvalho managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Acungui EC's Rodriguinho Oliveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Doriva Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Marcelo Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Rodriguinho Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Doriva Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Carvalho came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Acungui EC's Rodriguinho Oliveira. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Arnaldo das Neves got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th match minute, Natingui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo das Neves to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Acungui EC got a freekick which was hit by Túlio da Fonseca. 81 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Oliveira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Natingui FC's Doriva Carvalho. Doriva Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Natingui FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Ronaldinho Toscano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Teodoro Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Natingui FC's Doriva Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Natingui FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Acungui EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Natingui FC.
