The wind increased when Emílio Proença made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cristiano Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Diogo Amaral. 72 minutes into the match, Petrolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Fantini came free, but Rubens Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Diogo Amaral made a huge save. Petrolandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrolandia played a much better game than Caietra and deserved their victory. The Caietra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
