Claudinho de Barros came out of the goal and Gil Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Matías Bueno notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marrua's Claudinho de Barros. Claudinho de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tony Vergílio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. João Vítor do Vale's late challenge caught a Marrua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vítor do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Campinense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor do Vale to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tony Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho de Barros was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Campinense FC's Gil Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marrua's Claudinho de Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Marrua from getting a goal against them. Tony Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho de Barros having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Gil Gonçalves rounded Marrua's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Claudinho de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Bueno in the 86th minute of the match. Tony Vergílio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Marrua's Claudinho de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Bueno in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Matías Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho de Barros was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Rodrigo Peres's shot from long distance in the 97th minute was not bad at all, but Marrua's Claudinho de Barros knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When the match was over Campinense FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marrua throughout the match.
