Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anísio Quadros got the match started through his kick off. After 7 played minutes  Humaita SC®  got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Rosado. When Jerônimo Neves came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Itaipe AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Neves couldn't finish the play. When Arben Vogler came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the  Humaita SC®  fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arben Vogler couldn't finish the play. Anísio Quadros came free in the 17th minute and tried to tip the ball over Belmiro das Neves, but to the joy of Itaipe AD's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The supporters of  Humaita SC®  booed when Itaipe AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anísio Quadros fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 23rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 28th play minute Zé Marques came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manoel Valadares. 1-0. It was beautiful to see  Humaita SC® 's Anísio Quadros in action when he in the 34th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Joel Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itaipe AD's zone, Umberto Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro das Neves came out of the goal and Umberto Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arben Vogler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Marques got free with Manoel Valadares in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Zé Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Valadares having to interfere. Anísio Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belmiro das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arben Vogler in the 56th minute of the match. When Arben Vogler came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the  Humaita SC®  fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arben Vogler couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Anísio Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Itaipe AD's zone, Arben Vogler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro das Neves came out of the goal and Arben Vogler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anísio Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Belmiro das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to  Humaita SC®  getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Arben Vogler hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Zé Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manoel Valadares.  Humaita SC® 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Anísio Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Medeiros got free with Belmiro das Neves in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manoel Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.  Humaita SC® 's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Itaipe AD had won, even though  Humaita SC®  had held more of the ball.
