Joel Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Cássio Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Rosado in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in STAND BY's zone, Cássio Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Santos came out of the goal and Cássio Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, STAND BY's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Pernambucano came free, but Joel Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Cássio Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Santos. STAND BY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luiz Fábio Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiori Oliveira in the 30th minute. When Bando de Loukos F.C's Cássio Rosado in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STAND BY's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Rosado in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Santos saved STAND BY from getting behind.

Cássio Rosado had several of the STAND BY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Joel Santos as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Joel Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Bando de Loukos F.C's Cássio Rosado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bando de Loukos F.C's Luiz Fábio Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho de Moraes in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Cássio Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Santos. STAND BY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Cássio Rosado put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Santos. Wilton Alves's late challenge caught a STAND BY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilton Alves helped the player get up and apologised. Róbson Mandrak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tales Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dadá da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Santos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cássio Rosado sent off a good shot on target. Wilton Alves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 88 minutes into the match, STAND BY's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Mendes came free, but Joel Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Cássio Rosado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Santos. The goal made the score 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Bando de Loukos F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than STAND BY.
