In the 46th minute, Nestor Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Thiago Maia made the kick off in the second half. Escalvado's Joaquim Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Lope in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Escalvado getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dário Berger hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Escalvado got a freekick which was hit by Dário Berger. Escalvado's attentive Alberto Severo managed to snatch the ball when Amauri Travassos made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Escalvado's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Lope came free, but Joaquim Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 69 minutes, Nestor Vergílio made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Escalvado's Joaquim Seco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Atilano Lope made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Seco. Escalvado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Joaquim Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pinduca F.C fully deserved thier win.
