In the 16th minute Edu Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of MagricelosBR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Spartacus:s goal. If Pedro Augusto Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Leonel Araújo made a huge save. Leonel Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Guedes in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Amílton Mazza notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of MagricelosBR's Leonel Araújo. Leonel Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dráusio Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 55th minute, Marcos Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Araújo. MagricelosBR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Pedro Augusto Loyola took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Araújo. Leonel Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Loyola in the 68th minute of play forced MagricelosBR's goalkeeper Leonel Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dráusio Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Augusto Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the MagricelosBR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Augusto Rezende couldn't finish the play. Spartacus's Dráusio Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Velasco in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match MagricelosBR got a corner. Spartacus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edu Paulista ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Augusto Rezende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dráusio Dantas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. MagricelosBR's Leonel Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Guedes in the 84th minute of play. Leonel Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Mazza in the 87th minute of the match. Leonel Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Guedes in the 91st minute of play. Leonel Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to MagricelosBR getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cesinha Porto hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Spartacus were the better team. Spartacus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
