The tension between the Taquarinhas and the Urquiza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Taquarinhas getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. The Urquiza FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Urquiza FC's Falcão do Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Chico Moreno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Nascimento. Taquarinhas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Capano in the 48th minute of play forced Taquarinhas's goalkeeper Leonel Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Taquarinhas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Urquiza FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Capano to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Capano got free with Leonel Nascimento in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute Horacio Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Urquiza FC's Falcão do Vale in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Falcão do Vale in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonel Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Taquarinhas's Leonel Nascimento got control of the ball when Diego Capano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Taquarinhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Leonel Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tibúrcio Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Urquiza FC played a much better game than Taquarinhas and deserved their victory. The Taquarinhas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
