In the 10th minute, Cacá Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Náutico de RochaMBF's zone, Caco Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Torres came out of the goal and Caco Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cido Tavares hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Bittencourt in the 14th minute of the match. Ricardinho Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardinho Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Torres having to interfere. If Caco Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Ricardinho Passos made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Torres. Náutico de RochaMBF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jean Valladares got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Flavinho Toledo. Flavinho Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Cerezo having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Caco Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão Torres. The wind increased when Caco Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. When Cido Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Náutico de RochaMBF's protests and gave Cido Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Náutico de RochaMBF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Jean Valladares made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cido Tavares however managed to control. When Cido Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Náutico de RochaMBF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cido Tavares couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Estrelas de Roma's Cacá Velasco got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Flavinho Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Bittencourt in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristóvão Torres, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Náutico de RochaMBF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hudson Rosado hit a great ball. Caco Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Torres having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Náutico de RochaMBF got a freekick which was hit by Cido Tavares. Ernani Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Durval Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Torres having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ernani Fernandez put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Durval Cerezo. After 94 played minutes Náutico de RochaMBF got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Rodrigues. Caco Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Torres having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Estrelas de Roma left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Náutico de RochaMBF.
