Alfredão Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Vitório Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marape EC's Alfredão Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vitório Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão Andrade came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Uzina's Vitório Fonseca. But to his dismay, Vitório Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Vitório Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredão Andrade was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Yuri Toledo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Anderson Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Marape EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pinheiro came free, but Alfredão Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Andrade having to interfere. Alfredão Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Fonseca in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitório Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vitório Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes, Valdir Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marape EC and the Uzina players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uzina booed when Marape EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitório Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfredão Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Miguel Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Marape EC booed when Uzina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernani Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Olavo Donatello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeca Bertassi skillfully saved the ball. Zeca Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Marape EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vitório Fonseca 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. 93 minutes into the game, Vitório Fonseca lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Alfredão Andrade. A collision led to Uzina getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Yan Cerezo hit a great ball.
