Paris Saint-Germain FC's João Paulo Pereira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando de Sena, made in the 4th minute of the game. Orlando de Sena hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Nelson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain FC booed when Lupus Uxx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Vítor Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Paris Saint-Germain FC's Bruninho Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 29th minute Nelson Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Lucas Salles came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paris Saint-Germain FC's Bruninho Linhares. But to his dismay, Bruninho Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 36th match minute, Lupus Uxx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando de Sena to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldinho dos Santos during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paris Saint-Germain FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Osvaldinho dos Santos hit a great ball. João Paulo Pereira's late challenge caught a Lupus Uxx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, João Paulo Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bruninho Linhares made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Paris Saint-Germain FC's Augusto Vergílio got control of the ball when Pedro Luiz Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Lupus Uxx's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Linhares came free, but Lucas Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Paris Saint-Germain FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão de Sena. Frank Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fabrício de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupus Uxx's protests and gave Fabrício de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Lupus Uxx got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício de Brito. Bruninho Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lucas Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Guerra in the 90th minute of play. Lucas Salles came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Paris Saint-Germain FC's Frank Guerra. But to his dismay, Frank Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Bruninho Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
