Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) 3 minutes into the match, Muriahe's Raúl Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovani Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Oséias de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovani Queiroz came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Muriahe's Raúl Novaes. But to his dismay, Raúl Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Pinheiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Leal to maneuver through the defense. Tony da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Oséias de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Muriahe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Muriahe booed when Pinheiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias de Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséias de Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Raúl Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Matos in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Raúl Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muriahe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinheiro the free kick. Oséias de Azevedos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Geovani Queiroz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute Wellington Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Loyola hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pinheiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Eugênio Reis walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 38 minutes into the match, Muriahe's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Matos came free, but Raúl Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Oséias de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muriahe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eugênio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington Matos to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Wellington Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Queiroz having to interfere. Eugênio Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Geovani Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Novaes took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovani Queiroz. Geovani Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pinheiro's Michel Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovani Queiroz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Muriahe's Oséias de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Oséias de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiro's zone, João Carlos de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani Queiroz came out of the goal and João Carlos de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson de Toledo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, João Carlos de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Geovani Queiroz. Pinheiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 92 played minutes Pinheiro got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Dante. Luciano Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Tony da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Geovani Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
