Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MEVI SC's Mauro Torres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raúl Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Torres in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of MEVI SC booed when Muriahe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sydney Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Oséias de Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEVI SC's Sydney Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MEVI SC's zone, Oséias de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Saraiva came out of the goal and Oséias de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Saraiva came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Muriahe's Tony da Cunha. But to his dismay, Tony da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Muriahe's Oséias de Azevedo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MEVI SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Mauro Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muriahe's Raúl Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oséias de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muriahe's João Carlos de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Mauro Torres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raúl Esteves. Mauro Torres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Tony da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Saraiva having to interfere. Muriahe's Raúl Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Torres in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséias de Azevedo made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony da Cunha in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Raúl Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muriahe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Muriahe's Raúl Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Torres in the 58th minute of play. Muriahe's Oséias de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Reis in the 63rd minute of play. Sydney Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tony da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Muriahe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony da Cunha couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the game, Paulo José Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MEVI SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muriahe the free kick. Paulo José Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Muriahe's Vladimir Leão shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sydney Saraiva but with some difficulty. 91 minutes into the game, Oséias de Azevedo lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Sydney Saraiva. Muriahe were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
