After a defensive mix-up in Porfirio's zone, Jonathan Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Massa came out of the goal and Jonathan Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrianinho Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Raí Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porfirio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OSBOM the free kick. Raí Quintal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazinho Pinho in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Massa saved Porfirio from getting behind. When Adrianinho Mattos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 60 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eriberto Viana was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to OSBOM getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Júlio Pombal hit a great ball. Patrício de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Viana having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Lucas in the 91st minute of play forced Porfirio's goalkeeper Emílio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play Porfirio's Raí Quintal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th minute, Raí Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porfirio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
