Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, one of Setenta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 14 played minutes Setenta got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Brasil. Raí Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Michel Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Porfirio booed when Setenta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Mattos in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrício de Mendonça got free with Michel Branco in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Setenta's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Mattos came free, but Michel Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrianinho Mattos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Michel Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porfirio. Michel Branco made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Patrício de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Mattos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Branco was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Porfirio's Adrianinho Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Setenta's Michel Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Setenta from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Setenta's zone, Adrianinho Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Branco came out of the goal and Adrianinho Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrício de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrício de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. When Guga Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Setenta's protests and gave Guga Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Porfirio's Enrique de Mendonça couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 50th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Setenta. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Adrianinho Mattos made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Setenta's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Mattos came free, but Michel Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Prado's late challenge caught a Setenta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorival Prado helped the player get up and apologised. Dorival Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Porfirio's Dorival Prado got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Setenta booed when Porfirio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Abel Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrianinho Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Branco having to interfere. Porfirio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
