Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Augusto Goiano started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Zé Augusto Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bashar Shalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bashar Shalan having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Cristiano Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Diogo Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paiquere SC and the Boleiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paiquere SC's Diogo Vander got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bashar Shalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Goiano in the 27th minute of play. Dagoberto Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinei Bertassi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Paiquere SC booed when Boleiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaká Peixoto hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Dinei Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Jacinto having to interfere. Paiquere SC made a substitution. Jojo Chaniago replaced Dinei Bertassi. Jojo Chaniago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dagoberto Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Paiquere SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jojo Chaniago made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Paiquere SC's Carlos Augusto Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Paiquere SC's Renatinho Amaral was substituted for Robinho Costa. Bashar Shalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Goiano in the 62nd minute of play. Kaká Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Boleiros getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kaká Peixoto hit a great ball. Quique Vazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Jacinto having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Boleiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jojo Chaniago in the 67th minute. Kaká Peixoto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Quique Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paiquere SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
