Dé Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Wincek in the 11th minute of the match. Ronaldão Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Dé Araújo made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Karkará Caucaiense City's Ronaldão Meira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dé Araújo. Dé Araújo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Karkará Caucaiense City's Ricardinho Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Cruz in the 17th minute of play. Ricardinho Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Queirós in the 18th minute of play. Ronaldão Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, one of Uruque SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruque SC. The referee gave Karkará Caucaiense City a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jacinto das Neves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uruque SC's Dé Araújo. 3-0. After 30 minutes of play, Uruque SC's Cláudio Cruz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorival Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldão Meira was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Uruque SC booed when Karkará Caucaiense City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Dziuma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dadá de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruque SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Dziuma notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Uruque SC's Dé Araújo. Dé Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronaldão Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute.
