Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Franklin Vargas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind South Dortmund's goalkeeper Jeferson Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sydney Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Sydney Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Jeferson Peres. South Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 20 minutes, Michel Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the South Dortmund and the S.E. Goianiense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.E. Goianiense booed when South Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Sydney Rocha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tomás Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Dortmund's Jeferson Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The S.E. Goianiense fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when S.E. Goianiense's Sydney Rocha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Renatinho Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeferson Peres having to make a save. The S.E. Goianiense fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when S.E. Goianiense's Renatinho Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the game, Sydney Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Goianiense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Dortmund the free kick. Jorginho Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jeferson Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Peres having to interfere. Sydney Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Jeferson Peres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Valério Recife, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 53 minutes into the match, South Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Rocha came free, but Jeferson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jorginho Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jorginho Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jeferson Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Sydney Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65thth minute of the game Tomás Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Dortmund's Jeferson Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeferson Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Rocha's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Franklin Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the South Dortmund defense, Sydney Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeferson Peres. The South Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeferson Peres should have stopped the shot. Franklin Vargas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomé da Mata came out and tried to block the shot, but Franklin Vargas slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 87th minute. S.E. Goianiense's Renatinho Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Renatinho Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeferson Peres was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, South Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Rocha came free, but Jeferson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by South Dortmund's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valério Recife was slow to take the kick. During this time S.E. Goianiense's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on S.E. Goianiense's corner Valério Recife fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeferson Peres quite easily take care of the ball.
