Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Cabral in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltazar Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Vaz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Freitas in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Vaz saved Rialmas FC from getting behind. Falcão Bezerras short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Christiano Cardoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Rialmas FC's Falcão Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiano Cardoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Rialmas FC booed when Bicuiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Freitas in the 33rd minute of play forced Rialmas FC's goalkeeper Murillo Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Olavo Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 36th match minute, Rialmas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Santana hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Falcão Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rialmas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Falcão Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Bezerra got free with Christiano Cardoso in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Baltazar Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bicuiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Cabral couldn't finish the play.

After a rather tough play, Bicuiba's Norberto Paraíba got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute of the match Rialmas FC got a corner. Bicuiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jardel Pinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rialmas FC's corner Jardel Pinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christiano Cardoso quite easily take care of the ball. Válbson de Lima struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Christiano Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rialmas FC. After a defensive mix-up in Bicuiba's zone, Falcão Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Cardoso came out of the goal and Falcão Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bicuiba booed when Rialmas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Bicuiba's Sérgio Marquez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ronaldo Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Baltazar Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Murillo Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Cardoso having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Ivo Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bicuiba and the Rialmas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
