With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Paranaense in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléber das Neves saved S.E.Azzurra from getting behind. Manoel Guimarães did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Edinho de Azevedo 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Manoel Guimarães fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Egídio Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kléber das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Bebeto Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E.Azzurra and the MAGNO TBS players grew even worse after the yellow card. MAGNO TBS's André Luís Sabóia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.E.Azzurra. Kléber das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Cordeiro in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, S.E.Azzurra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Manoel Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho de Azevedo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Kléber das Neves came out of the goal and Aloísio Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edinho de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Kléber das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.E.Azzurra's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
