Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Sivori started the match with the kick off. Armando Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Sivori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustão Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustão Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Coroveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Proença to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Omar Sivori sped through Coroveira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Cunha. After a rather tough play, Coroveira FC's Amauri Barreto got a free kick in the 8th minute. Felipe Caicedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Sivori in the 15th minute of play. Omar Sivori struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Armando Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nassan FC. In the 22nd minute, Coroveira FC's Amauri Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Nassan FC's Felipe Caicedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nelsinho Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nassan FC's Nelsinho Valadares got control of the ball when Amauri Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dudu Reis struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nelsinho Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coroveira FC. In the 38th minute, Amauri Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Coroveira FC's zone, Omar Sivori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Cunha came out of the goal and Omar Sivori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Omar Sivori came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Nassan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Sivori couldn't finish the play. Armando Cunha came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Nassan FC's Felipe Caicedo. But to his dismay, Felipe Caicedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Coroveira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nassan FC were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Dudu Reis made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Felipe Caicedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Cunha. The goal made the score 2-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Omar Sivori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nassan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Sivori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Nassan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Reis came free, but Nelsinho Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Nassan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Nunes came free, but Nelsinho Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Coroveira FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho de Queiroz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Nunes in the 80th minute of play forced Nassan FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Pontes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Coroveira FC's Dudu Reis in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nassan FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dudu Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nelsinho Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Amauri Barreto sped through Nassan FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho Valadares. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nassan FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
