The supporters of Pedrinopolis booed when Ariri SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinopolis's Eustacio Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anderson Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Urbano in the 8th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Rezende's late challenge caught a Ariri SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. Jefferson Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anderson Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinopolis's Anderson Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Pedrinopolis from getting a goal against them. After having played for 13 minutes, Alex Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ariri SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Moisés Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedê Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Gerber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Guilherme de Alcântara. Ariri SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Rubens de Amorim could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Anderson Mesquita however easily saved by the left post. Anderson Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Alagoano in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Moisés Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luís Guilherme de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubens de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anderson Mesquita having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Rubens de Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ariri SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Pedrinopolis's Anderson Mesquita got control of the ball when Rubens de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anderson Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Urbano in the 45th minute of the match. Telmo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Mesquita having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Pedrinopolis's Anderson Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Vidal in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Alex Alagoano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pedrinopolis's Anderson Mesquita. Anderson Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Urbano in the 66th minute of play forced Pedrinopolis's goalkeeper Anderson Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Arturo Itzaina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedrinopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ariri SC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Pedrinopolis got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Itzaina. Jefferson Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Pedrinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens de Amorim came free, but Anderson Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinopolis's Anderson Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Alagoano in the 76th minute of play. Anderson Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Urbano in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Urbano in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anderson Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th match minute, Ariri SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Soeiro to maneuver through the defense.
