The audience was convinced that Plamen Barbov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinei Alves was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 48thth minute of the game Plamen Barbov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xandão E.C's Dinei Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Xandão E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VIKINGS were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Xandão E.C's Dinei Alves got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, VIKINGS's Plamen Barbov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
