But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Paraense couldn't finish the play. If Alexsandro Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, MANCHA VERDE's Duarte Paraense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Tavares got free with Angelo Furlan in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Alexsandro Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silves's Angelo Furlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Goiano in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Barreto notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Silves's Angelo Furlan. Angelo Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, MANCHA VERDE's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Recife came free, but Miguel Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alexsandro Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANCHA VERDE's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Silves's Jeremias Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Rodrigues. That made the score 6-1 after 83 minutes of play. Miguel Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Fernandinho Marquez sent off a good shot on target. There was no doubt that MANCHA VERDE were the better team. MANCHA VERDE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
