The crowd rose to their feet as Loisiania's Ciro da Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zoltán Novák. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24th minute of the match Benedito Terra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Ceresso skillfully saved the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Lukasz Buczko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loisiania's Juan Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Pegasus SC's Jardel de Amaral in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vítor Netto's late challenge caught a Pegasus SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Netto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Loisiania getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vítor Netto hit a great ball. If Jardel de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel de Amaral in the 43rd minute of play. Jardel de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Juan Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Alfredão Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loisiania and the Pegasus SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Alfredão Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Vítor Netto was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pegasus SC booed when Loisiania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Jardel de Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Ceresso. The goal made the score 1-1. Célio Tavares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Ceresso. Loisiania's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Jardel de Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Juan Ceresso to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 68 in the game by Lukasz Buczko from a close distance when the talented Juan Ceresso managed to make a qualified save. Loisiania's players were relieved. After 73 minutes, Filipe Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loisiania and the Pegasus SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loisiania fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Loisiania's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Lukasz Buczko scored to the left of an out of position Juan Ceresso, making the score, 1-4. Loisiania's Cleiton Breckenfeld got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Cleiton Breckenfeld off the ground. In the 85th match minute, Loisiania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Lukasz Buczko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ceresso having to interfere. In the last second Juan Ceresso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mateus Costa in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Juan Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Ceresso came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegasus SC's Lukasz Buczko. But to his dismay, Lukasz Buczko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Lukasz Buczkos short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Juan Ceresso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
