Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Paulo Rosa got the match started through his kick off. Décio Passos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jano Seco in the 4th minute. Nilton Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Vides went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Décio Passos managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when E.C. MOGIANA's José Paulo Rosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute, José Paulo Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Décio Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. José Paulo Rosas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Décio Passos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Muniz's Dênis Rossi got a free kick in the 31st minute. José Paulo Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Muniz's goalkeeper Décio Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Seco. Dênis Rossi took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Campidelis. Nilton Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Jano Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

E.C. MOGIANA's Wágner Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. E.C. MOGIANA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Baltazar Vides scored to the left of an out of position Nilton Campidelis, making the score, 1-4. 56 minutes into the game, Baltazar Vides recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilton Campidelis. Baltazar Vides showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Paulo Rosa in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Décio Passos saved Muniz from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Jano Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jano Seco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the E.C. MOGIANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jano Seco couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, E.C. MOGIANA's Nilton Campidelis got control of the ball when Dênis Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Jano Seco made a precise shot to the right of Décio Passos. Muniz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. José Vítor Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Seco in the 93rd minute of the match. E.C. MOGIANA's Nilton Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Vides in the 94th minute of play. Although E.C. MOGIANA had been in control for most of the match, Muniz still came away with the win.
