An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Dênis Rossi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baltazar Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Otávio Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dênis Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Beleza's zone, Baltazar Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Lopez came out of the goal and Baltazar Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Muniz booed when Beleza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beleza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Pereira was slow to take the kick. During this time Muniz's players had a chance to rest. Muniz's Paulo Pereira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Otávio Lopez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emanuel Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 minutes of play Beleza's Emanuel Pinho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The wind increased when Baltazar Vides made the kick off in the second half. Baltazar Vides struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Otávio Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muniz. Otávio Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Muniz's Dênis Rossi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Baltazar Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Vides in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otávio Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Beleza's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Rossi came free, but Otávio Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Vides struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Otávio Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muniz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Rossi in the 87th minute of play forced Beleza's goalkeeper Otávio Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Muniz's zone, Eurico Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Passos came out of the goal and Eurico Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
