One of Estupradores de Tatu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tucano SC:s goal. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Tucano SC. Kléberson Pimenta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ronaldo Terra. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Tucano SC's Kléberson Pimenta seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kléberson Pimenta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tucano SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kléberson Pimenta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tucano SC:s Osvaldinho Toscano showed great skill when he stopped Conrado Favoretto:s penalty. With a little luck, Tucano SC's Osvaldinho Toscano got control of the ball when Jano Rosado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estupradores de Tatu were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Tucano SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrado Favoretto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Reynaldo Guerra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Osvaldinho Toscano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Estupradores de Tatu's zone, Eriberto de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Terra came out of the goal and Eriberto de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Estupradores de Tatu's goalkeeper Ronaldo Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto de Senna in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Terra saved Estupradores de Tatu from getting behind. Eriberto de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ronaldo Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tucano SC's Eriberto de Senna in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estupradores de Tatu's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo Guerra hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto de Senna made a kick off. The supporters of Tucano SC booed when Estupradores de Tatu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Kauã Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eriberto de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ronaldo Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã Albuquerque in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldinho Toscano saved Tucano SC from getting behind. After 82 played minutes Tucano SC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Saraiva. The supporters of Estupradores de Tatu booed when Tucano SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldinho Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Rosado in the 86th minute of play. Kauã Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estupradores de Tatu's Ronaldo Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto de Senna in the 89th minute of play. After 93 played minutes, Estupradores de Tatu's Waldir Pimenta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldinho Toscano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estupradores de Tatu reached it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
