Cristiano Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Percy Vander made a huge save. If Túlio Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percy Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percy Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Túlio Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percy Vander was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Fernandinho Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fernandinho Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Túlio Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Percy Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Paulo Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the flamenginho and the Porto Sairú F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of flamenginho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Porto Sairú F.C.:s goal. If Anísio Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 34 in the game by Cristiano Moraes from a close distance when the talented Percy Vander managed to make a qualified save. flamenginho's players were relieved. Cristiano Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anísio Koehler was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristiano Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porto Sairú F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave flamenginho the free kick. After 72 minutes of play, Porto Sairú F.C.'s Cristiano Moraes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 75 minutes, Cristiano Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto Sairú F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Cristiano Moraes notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of flamenginho's Percy Vander. Percy Vander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Porto Sairú F.C. were the better team. Porto Sairú F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
