The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oloyalemong's Rubens Luz got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Macau FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Iljo Novev hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Percy Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Percy Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmir Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tommie Schipper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Walmir Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oloyalemong's Víktor Paraense got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Filipe Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Artur Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommie Schipper to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oloyalemong's zone, Percy Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Mendes came out of the goal and Percy Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percy Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmir Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percy Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Oloyalemong's Walmir Mendes got control of the ball when Percy Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Víktor Paraense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macau FC's Filipe Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Víktor Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Paraense in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Oloyalemong booed when Macau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Schipper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Batista in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Artur Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Valladares was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Macau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Paraense came free, but Filipe Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
