Zézinho das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Mendes having to interfere. Faustão Aguiar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Oloyalemong's goalkeeper Walmir Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Rosado. After 14 played minutes Oloyalemong got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Luz. Walmir Mendes came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bola que Rola's Zézinho das Neves. But to his dismay, Zézinho das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Zézinho das Neves from a close distance when the talented Walmir Mendes managed to make a qualified save. Oloyalemong's players were relieved. Zézinho das Neves scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmir Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Batista struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rubens Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oloyalemong. 32 minutes into the match, Oloyalemong's goalkeeper Walmir Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho das Neves. In the 32nd match minute, Oloyalemong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Luz to maneuver through the defense. Zézinho das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Oloyalemong's Artur Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubens Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulão Simões hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Zézinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Mendes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Maurinho Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bola que Rola's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmir Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurinho Rosado was the one to do the kick off. Maurinho Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Mendes having to interfere. Walmir Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Zézinho das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Walmir Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubens Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Paraense in the 66th minute of play. Bola que Rola's Maurinho Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Mendes having to interfere. Zézinho das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Walmir Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
