When Kléber Borges came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jupiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Borges couldn't finish the play. Mário Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortêncio Zilles came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Jupiranga's Davi Carioca. But to his dismay, Davi Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Queirós got free with Wesley Simões in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jupiranga's Davi Carioca in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinheiros FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Matías dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Davi Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Jupiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Carioca couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Davi Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Zilles was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Davi Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Zilles having to interfere. Kléber Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hortêncio Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiros FC's zone, Osvaldinho Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Zilles came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hortêncio Zilles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Carioca in the 41st minute of the match. The Pinheiros FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jupiranga were winning 0-1.

Pinheiros FC's Hortêncio Zilles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pinheiros FC from getting a goal against them. When Matías dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinheiros FC's protests and gave Matías dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros FC's Matías dos Santos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Davi Carioca struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hortêncio Zilles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jupiranga. Jupiranga's Wesley Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Queirós in the 61st minute of play. Ciro Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Jupiranga's Nildo Bezerra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pinheiros FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Davi Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jupiranga's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Zilles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hortêncio Zilles came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Jupiranga's Davi Carioca. But to his dismay, Davi Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hortêncio Zilles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davi Carioca in the 73rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pinheiros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Nildo Bezerra walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 77th minute, Jupiranga's Kléber Borges ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hortêncio Zilles. Hortêncio Zilles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 80 played minutes Jupiranga got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sergipano. In the 82nd minute of the match Ciro Mineiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Kléber Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jupiranga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kléber Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hortêncio Zilles came out and tried to block the shot, but Kléber Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Kléber Borges reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hortêncio Zilles. The goal made the score 0-5. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros FC's Carlos Alberto Andrade got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jupiranga played a much better game than Pinheiros FC and deserved their victory. The Pinheiros FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
