Fiori Maia started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Catarinense in the 4th minute of play forced Baiaco Futebol Arte's goalkeeper Rafinha Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique de Queirós in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Garcia got free with Waldemar Rosado in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Baiaco Futebol Arte's zone, Luís da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Xavier came out of the goal and Luís da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafinha Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís da Silveira went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Sanharao EC's Luís da Silveira in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baiaco Futebol Arte's goalie prevented a goal. Joélson Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fiori Maia came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Baiaco Futebol Arte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Maia couldn't finish the play. When Sanharao EC's Osvaldinho Catarinense in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rafinha Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Joélson Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Baiaco Futebol Arte's goal looked a bit too open when Renato França came free, but Rafinha Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Baiaco Futebol Arte's goal looked a bit too open when Luís da Silveira came free, but Rafinha Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís da Silveira made a kick off. Rafinha Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís da Silveira in the 55th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Osvaldinho Catarinense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanharao EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Baiaco Futebol Arte's Doriva Siqueira got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rafinha Xavier made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Osvaldinho Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. Rafinha Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato França in the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Fiori Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafinha Xavier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldinho Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes of play, Sanharao EC's Osvaldinho Catarinense made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafinha Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Joélson Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Rosado. Sanharao EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The Sanharao EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
