When Leonel do Vale was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After 96 played minutes Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Leonel do Vale. Palestra Itália were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
