In the 9th minute Jean Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Vito Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarapirangua Parque Club's Lauro Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. If Robinho da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Nascimento having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Cerezo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Urbano saved Rerituba from getting behind. When Paulo José Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guarapirangua Parque Club's protests and gave Paulo José Baiano a yellow card for diving instead.
