Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giovanni Abraão kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Curralinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Abraão couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Abraão in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tales Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmo Luz got free with Luís Fabiano Baptista in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Curralinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Domingues to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdo da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Baltazar Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Curralinho's protests and gave Valdo da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curralinho getting a freekick after 78 minutes play.
