One of Deu Zica Jr:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suzano AC:s goal. Téo Arruda had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Josué Velloso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Marco Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Deu Zica Jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Moreira couldn't finish the play. Marco Moreira took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Cordeiro. Armando Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Suzano AC's Eusébio Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Suzano AC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Donato came free, but Armando Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Marco Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suzano AC's Armando Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedicto Pedriza struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Armando Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deu Zica Jr. In the 36th minute Arnaldo Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Cordeiro having to interfere. If Marco Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44 played minutes, Deu Zica Jr's Arnaldo Antunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Cordeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deu Zica Jr reached it. Dida de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedrão Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Armando Cordeiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arnaldo Antunes. César Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Téo Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Goiano in the 61st minute of play. Nickolai Graff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Marco Moreira rounded Suzano AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Dida de Barros hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Marco Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Armando Cordeiro made a huge save. Marco Moreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armando Cordeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Moreira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 78th minute. Marco Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Kaká Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Cordeiro. Suzano AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 88 minutes in the game, Nickolai Graff fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Armando Cordeiro having to interfere. Marco Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Armando Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marco Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Deu Zica Jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Moreira couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Deu Zica Jr left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Suzano AC.
