Elói Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Machorra defense, Alessandro Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Peixoto. The Machorra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Peixoto should have stopped the shot. João Pedro Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. João Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Camarão Preto's João Pedro Leão in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Camarão Preto's Frank de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Cruz in the 45th minute of play. Frank de Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Cunha in the 49th minute. The Machorra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Camarão Preto were winning 0-3.

A collision led to Camarão Preto getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Laerte Zanette hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Cristóvão de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Machorra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camarão Preto the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Camarão Preto's Alessandro Matorin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Peixoto. That made the score 0-4 after 59 minutes of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Erasmo Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camarão Preto's Frank de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Cruz in the 65th minute of play forced Camarão Preto's goalkeeper Frank de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank de Lima having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Erasmo Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank de Lima. Camarão Preto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 72nd match minute, Machorra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Afonso Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camarão Preto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Machorra the free kick. After a rather tough play, Camarão Preto's Afonso Eger got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Machorra got a freekick which was hit by Elói Cruz. Elói Cruz stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Camarão Preto's defenders and the ball went out. Machorra appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. 80 minutes into the match, Machorra's goalkeeper João Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laerte Zanette. 82 minutes into the match, Alessandro Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Peixoto. Machorra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 88th minute, Alessandro Matorin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Peixoto, passed just outside the right post. João Pedro Leão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, João Peixoto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Erasmo Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elói Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Camarão Preto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
