Camarão Preto's Laerte Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulinho Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Matorin in the 6th minute of the match. Alessandro Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Linhares having to interfere. Ulysses Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Pinga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edu Arruda in the 15th minute. The supporters of Camarão Preto booed when Pinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Inácio Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. Celso Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank de Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Celso Pimenta in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frank de Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paulinho Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Leão's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Edu Arruda hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If João Pedro Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Charles Coelho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinga's goalkeeper Paulinho Linhares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alessandro Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Celso Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute Alessandro Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Camarão Preto booed when Pinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Matorin took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulinho Linhares. Paulinho Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If João Pedro Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Afonso Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camarão Preto and the Pinga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Eger hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Alessandro Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarão Preto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Camarão Preto players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
