The Guerreiros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Tales Bastos put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Douglas Salgado. Douglas Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rodriguinho Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcus Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C Salvador's protests and gave Marcus Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Douglas Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doni Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doni Seco hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Agnaldo Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the E.C Salvador defense, Tales Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Salgado. The E.C Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Salgado should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Guerreiros FC's Tales Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. E.C Salvador's Douglas Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Bastos in the 46th minute of play.

When Doni Seco came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Guerreiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni Seco couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Bezerra notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of E.C Salvador's Douglas Salgado. Douglas Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Tales Bastos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Douglas Salgado. That made the score 0-7 in the 71 minute of play. Rodriguinho Bezerras short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Douglas Salgado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guerreiros FC's Lorenzo Erramu suffered a sore thigh after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. E.C Salvador's Marcus Fernandez got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Marcus Fernandez off the ground. Guerreiros FC made a substitution. Toninho Queirós replaced Lorenzo Erramu. Marcus Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tales Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Salgado having to interfere. After 82 played minutes E.C Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Goiano. In the 87th match minute, E.C Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Tales Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rodriguinho Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Guerreiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho Bezerra couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd play minute Rodriguinho Bezerra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Douglas Salgado. 0-8. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Douglas Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over Guerreiros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E.C Salvador throughout the match.
