Erik Seco hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Naldo Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Antônio Carlos Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Carlos Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naldo Vianna made a kick off. Leonel Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Wesley Braga got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Adriano Ramos was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Alex City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Erik Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Ramos having to interfere. If Erik Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Erik Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex City's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cifrão Futebol Clube's zone, Erik Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Ramos came out of the goal and Erik Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 3-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Erik Seco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Alex City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Seco in the 95th minute of play forced Cifrão Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adriano Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
