The supporters of Ziqui-Zira booed when Red Hawk Vista Alegrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magno Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Quadros in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Quadros in the 34th minute of play forced Ziqui-Zira's goalkeeper Magno Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Adalmo Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Hawk Vista Alegrense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalmo Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Recife during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ziqui-Zira's Hernani Recife got a free kick in the 57th minute. Júnior Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Sergipano having to interfere. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes into the game, one of Ziqui-Zira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tostão de Toledo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magno Sergipano. Sílvio Luiz Ortiz scored 6-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magno Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valério Simões's late challenge caught a Red Hawk Vista Alegrense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Valério Simões hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
