Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cardozo in the 19th minute of play forced Paredao's goalkeeper Noel Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Manolo Simões in the 25th minute really tested Noel Dante's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Noel Dante made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Leo Rojas sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, MCTIMAO's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Meirelles came free, but Gustavo Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Simão Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Váldson Aparecido suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 34 minutes, Dé Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCTIMAO and the Paredao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dé Meirelles hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, MCTIMAO's Leo Rojas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gustavo Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After having played for 53 minutes, Jorge Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCTIMAO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Rojas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simão Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gustavo Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MCTIMAO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jorge Cardozo hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Paredao got a freekick which was hit by Simão Moreira. Leo Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Noel Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes, MCTIMAO's Durvalino Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noel Dante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MCTIMAO reached it. When Jorge Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the MCTIMAO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Cardozo couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Paredao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Paredao's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Cardozo came free, but Noel Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, MCTIMAO's goalkeeper Gustavo Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Moreira. In the 91st minute Jorge Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Dante was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Erasmo Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
