Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gildo Massa took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Evandro Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabugi SC's Evandro Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Washington Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Laércio Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrepol SC. When Percival Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrepol SC's protests and gave Percival Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arrepol SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Percival Freitas hit a great ball. Gildo Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Evandro Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Arrepol SC's Washington Nogueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laércio Schmidt. Laércio Schmidt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 33 played minutes Arrepol SC got a freekick which was hit by Enio Palmeira. Gildo Massa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Ulisses Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabugi SC's Laércio Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Nogueira in the 41st minute of play. Evandro Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alfredinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Gildo Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gildo Massa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Paraíba was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Washington Nogueira made a kick off. Evandro Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alfredinho Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabugi SC. In the 63rd minute, Washington Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gildo Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evandro Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo Massa got free with Alfredinho Paraíba in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evandro Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alfredinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrepol SC's zone, Evandro Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Paraíba came out of the goal and Evandro Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabugi SC's Evandro Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
