An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Dorival Fontes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The wind increased when Roberto Coelho made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Cesinha Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habeas Corpus F.C.'s Cléberson de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ibitiguacu FC booed when Habeas Corpus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Habeas Corpus F.C.'s Fellipe Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Fernandes in the 68th minute of play. Percy Madureira hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Lopez in the 75th minute of play forced Habeas Corpus F.C.'s goalkeeper Fellipe Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Cássio Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibitiguacu FC's protests and gave Cássio Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Cássio Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
