Geraldo Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Abraão in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Meireles was the one to do the kick off. Paulo José Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geraldo Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Guga Negri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of He Qian Jie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Foxes MZC's Reinaldo Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geraldo Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Meireles fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. He Qian Jie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga Negri in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Cajuapara FC booed when Foxes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cajuapara FC's Geraldo Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Prado in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Cajuapara FC booed when Foxes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Luiz Fabiano Meireles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of He Qian Jie. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 91st minute, Murilo Tavares had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Foxes MZC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Wiliam Almeida hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Foxes MZC's goalkeeper He Qian Jie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guga Negri. Geraldo Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cajuapara FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
