Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Capa's Vicente Marques started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Brazuca got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Cosme. After some careless play in the Capa defense, Tadeu Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Brasil. The Capa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Brasil should have stopped the shot. Capa's Betão Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Tróia in the 16th minute of play. Remo Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remo Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Brasil having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Tadeu Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capa's Betão Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brazuca were furious when Kauan Melo was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 27 minutes into the game, one of Brazuca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Décio Bastos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Betão Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes, Remo Sena made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Capa's Betão Brasil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tadeu Andrade hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Remo Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Betão Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remo Sena was the one to do the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Brazuca's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Abraão came free, but Murillo Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Remo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Vinhas in the 69th minute of play forced Brazuca's goalkeeper Murillo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capa's Betão Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Capa from getting a goal against them. Remo Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Betão Brasil made a huge save. Murillo Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Zonta had several of the Capa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 97 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Betão Brasil as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Brazuca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capa throughout the match.
