Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natã Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Betão Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Capa got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Marques. In the 15th minute, Carcara SC's Jorginho de Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Carcara SC's Natã Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Jorginho de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Brasil made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Natã Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. Hamílton Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Natã Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carcara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natã Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorginho de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão Brasil having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Marques to make the kick off. Betão Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho de Carvalho in the 51st minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, Carcara SC's Oswaldo Queirós made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betão Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Vicente Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Capa getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edgar Vinhas hit a great ball. Osmar Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Henrique Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorginho de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Brasil having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Luís Fernando Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betão Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Natã Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Carcara SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Paranaense couldn't finish the play. Natã Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carcara SC's Jorginho de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Betão Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natã Paranaense went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
