Edinho Peres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dinei Paes made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güralp Erdoğan in the 52nd minute of play forced Az Babilônia's goalkeeper Edinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güralp Erdoğan ran back to his position shaking his head. Edinho Peres came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Curiphila Eagles's Fernando Vaz. But to his dismay, Fernando Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Edinho Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güralp Erdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Az Babilônia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Vrabie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltazar Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Az Babilônia's Enéas Rosa got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Enéas Rosa off the ground. Enéas Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
