Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulinho Corrêa got the match started through his kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Cotias's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Aguiar came free, but Donato Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Paulinho Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Cotias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Paulinho Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Donato Gaúcho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anil AD. After 20 played minutes Cotias got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Prestes. 25 minutes into the match, Anil AD's goalkeeper Pedrão Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Tepedino. Bernardo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualter Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pedrão Ferraz made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Victor Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Queiroz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Ferraz saved Anil AD from getting behind. Filipe Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Queiroz in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Bernardo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrão Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Cotias's Donato Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Cotias from getting a goal against them. Willian Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Alberto Couto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cotias's Donato Gaúcho didn't even have to move. Bernardo Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Donato Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Tepedino in the 76th minute of play forced Anil AD's goalkeeper Pedrão Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fellipe Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fellipe Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cotias booed when Anil AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cotias's Cafu Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrão Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Willian Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anil AD the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Willian Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulinho Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anil AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
